On The Hydropath Society’s Wine Walkabouts you can experience a guided tasting of an Incredible selection of eclectic wines coupled with delectable provisions in the Adelaide Foothills.

There is a special magic to enjoying a bottle of wine in the great outdoors, “en plein air”, as the French say.

March 1 – A Mid-Summer Day’s Dream Wine WalkAbout

Shakespeare foolishly claimed, ”Good wine needs no bush”. Prepare to refute the Bard as Pucky puns roll off the tongue and we elope up the slopes with great wines presented like love potions to enrapture the heart, palate and soul. A delightful Mediterranean-themed dream team of drinks shall thus satisfy both the poets and the lovers.

March 29 – Sensational Secret Insiders’ Sipping Session Wine WalkAbout

Modern winemakers think outside the box and we often benefit from this experimentation with amazing, creative drops produced in tiny quantities. Often elegant, inspired works of subtle genius, discover the world of co-fermented, carbonic and wild yeast ferments as we taste these favourite, insider winemaking ‘tricks’ and treats. A crafty blend of Blaufrankish/Zweigelt anyone?
